Glimpses of Jesus 7

Glimpses of Jesus in the Old Testament is a year long bible study written by Simon Clay of Jubilee Church Solihull.   You can join in at any time.

Today's post is about Joseph's life and how his experiences foreshadowed Jesus in Genesis 37-50.

I cut out the shape of a cloak/dress and used watercolours to colour the left side as thought it was made from patchwork.  I wrote the similarities on each side of the coat and glued it into my journal.

Do have a look back through the posts on the Glimpses of Jesus blog where you will find links to other people's art and poetry.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. What a great idea! It's a great way to visualize the comparisons, Bernice. :)

  2. The old previewed the new and the new revealed the old. They are all one voice. I love your analogy and so many more can be journaled. This is surely what the words were meant to do. Predict and fulfill providing peace beyond measure. Thank you so much for this post.
