Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt. Today's inspiration is the poem 'Stopping by Woods on A Snowy Evening' by Robert Frost and it is one of my most favourite poems. The technique challenge is to add texture to the page.
Here are the next few pages in my book.
This is today's page folded.
And here it is opened out.
And the side that will show with the masking tape on.
I sprayed the blue Dylusions ink and the White Linen through a large stencil.
Then I used some Golden Clear Granular Gel through a snowflake stencil. It has lumps in it!
Here's a closeup.
When that had dried, I turned to the back of the page and drew round the tag.
I cut lines across the drawn shape to be able to weave the tag through. I learned this in a workshop with Dyan Reaveley. Thanks Dyan.
Here's the other side.
I put double sided tape on the page to hold it down.
I cut a tag out of a piece of white card and did my journaling. I put the verse on this side.
On the back I stamped some trees and put the quote.
Thanks for stopping by.
