B is for Believe

If you want to join in with making an A to Z of Me Journal through the month of February click through to the Challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Believe.

I used the same colours of distress inks on this page as yesterday.

I used a Dylusions stencil and the Ripe Persimmon distress ink to randomly put pattern on the page.

Today's technique is to doodle in colour.  I don't doodle very much so I'm definitely going to sign up for Valerie's online class.  Instead I put my large acrylic block in the middle of the page and used a Dylusions stamp and archival ink to stamp around the edge of the large block.

Then I used my Inktense crayons to colour in the pattern.  And I stamped today's word.

I stuck the quote and the bible verse onto the page and then journaled between them.

I look forward to see how you are getting on with your journal.  Don't forget to link a photo on the challenge blog.

See you tomorrow.

  1. I've never thought to stamp around an acrylic block before. I've always done it freehand and had to live with the wobbliness :) Thanks for the tip.
