Explore perfection

Today's prompt from Shimelle was about perfection.   And as my journaling says I reach for excellence in what I do rather than perfection.  In fact I made a mistake when I was writing and in the past I would have got a new piece of card to write on.  And in fact I probably would have done in striving for excellence but thought I would leave the crossing out as a reminder to myself!  In the past I would have drawn lines so that the writing was straight and possibly done it on the computer so that the writing was perfect.

In addition it was suggested that we add a photo to our playbook that we were particularly pleased with and I really like this one that I took on Kirsty's course a couple of week's ago.

The other thing you will notice is that despite cutting everything to 6"x4" these cards don't match!  I may well cut them all to size when I've finished. It just depends how much it irritates me.

And the other thing is that the postcard pages I showed you are upside down in the playbook.  I punched the holes at the end that looked right but when I went to read it the rings are on the right rather than the left.  Just means I have to keep turning the book.  Perhaps that's part of the playing!  What do you think?

  3. I think your journaling is perfect! It is much better to aim for excellence that it is to be perfect.
