Not a tag!

This week I've tried to restore some sense of order to my days with a to-do list each day.   I gave up on the one that had 26 things on it and have tried to have a more sensible 4 or 5 things each day.  The ironing was listed on Tuesday, then Wednesday, then Thursday etc.  You get the picture.  It still isn't done, but it is on today's list as was making a tag, working on the Soul Restoration course I'm on, and do the January church accounts!   So the cover of a book didn't really feature!

But it is what I have spent the day doing!

On 17th February I will be at Art From The Heart in Harrogate attending the 'Artful Journal' workshop being taught by Tim Holtz, and hosted by Dyan.  On the following Thursday as you know if you've been reading my blog for the past few days, I'm attending the ArtsyCrafts day being taught by Tim Holtz, Lin & Leandra.

So I decided that I would make a grunge book to keep my 12 tags in (see posts for the past few days) and photos of the two events.   I won't be doing much more to it now until the end of the week as I thought it would be great to include any new techniques that I learn or new products that I purchase!

The cover is a sheet of grungeboard inked with Distress Ink (Faded Jeans), clear embossed and inked over with DI Brushed Corduroy.   The letters have been painted with Paint Dabbers in copper and stream and then stamped with a Paperartsy stamp.   Finally I used Sepia Accents to seal them.  The pins, tags and fragments are all from the Ideology range.
